Concept

MOONDOG partnered with Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum to build a first-of-its-kind shared virtual reality space program that is offered to groups who visit the USS YORKTOWN. The program utilizes 360-degree VR technology to present the solar system to groups of up to twenty people at a time using VR headsets and surround sound. Advanced programming allows each participant to share the exciting experience together as a group.

The immersive experience helps change the way visitors experience and learn about outer space. Visitors are "buckled" into a virtual spacecraft and taken across the solar system and beyond, all while sitting in side a theater about the USS YORKTOWN.
